Screw back round pushered sports versions are by far the most collectable chronographs produced by Patek along with the split seconds. They had the same movements as the more common snap backs such as reference 130 but were much chunkier in appearance due to the construction of their waterproof cases. These versions go for between 3 and 4 times the price of their snap back counterparts yet the cases were not even manufactured by Patek! They were however signed by them. This example retains its original engraved dial that has not been brushed or refilled in any way and associated bracelet. |
